Live transcription
Runs on your iPhone when iOS 26 and the needed speech model support it. If live on-device transcription is unavailable, Conference Ink records safely and can transcribe after you stop using the EU cloud fallback, unless you choose device-only mode.
Live translation
Live translation runs on-device on supported iPhones, with 22 target languages and downloadable language packs for offline use. Translations are shown on screen only and are not stored.
AI summaries
Tap Generate summary when the transcript is ready, then choose cloud generation or a private on-device Apple Intelligence summary when your iPhone supports it.
Slide photo text (OCR)
Text is read out of your slide photos on your iPhone (Apple Vision). The cloud is used only if on-device recognition fails.
Your recording (audio)
Lives on your phone for about 30 days. While you are signed in, a crash-safe backup goes to your private EU storage and is deleted within about 48 hours of transcription. Audio is never shareable, never downloadable, never used for training.
Transcripts, notes & summaries
Saved on your phone and synced to your private EU database (Frankfurt) so nothing is lost if you drop your phone in a fountain. Kept until you delete them.
The full detail, including every third party we use, is in the privacy policy and on the security page. If our copy ever says more than our code does, tell us and we will fix the copy.
