Recording always works offline. On supported iPhones with the needed models, live transcription and private summaries can also run on-device; otherwise cloud processing runs when you are back online.

When you are recording therapy sessions, coaching conversations, or personal reflections, you deserve to know exactly where your data lives. Conference Ink captures audio on your device first, supports on-device processing where available, and uses clear cloud choices when you use cloud transcription, cloud summaries, or premium read-aloud. Conference Ink is not end-to-end encrypted; synced content is stored in your private account space on our EU-hosted backend. Raw audio is deleted from our servers within about 48 hours of transcription, and the copy on your device is kept for about 30 days. We never sell your data.
