System requirements

iPhone

iOS 15.0 or later. On-device transcription and live translation require iOS 26; private on-iPhone AI summaries require iPhone 15 Pro or newer. On iPad the app runs in iPhone compatibility mode.

Internet connection

Recording always works offline. On supported iPhones with the needed models, live transcription, live translation, and private AI summaries can also run on-device offline; otherwise cloud processing runs when you are back online. Internet is needed for sign-in and sync.

Storage

Approximately 80 MB install size, plus optional on-device language packs. Audio files stored locally on your device.
