How QR session sharing will work
The flow we're building: from session creation to a room full of engaged attendees in three steps.
Organizer creates a session
Set up the session with a title, speaker name, date, and description. Conference Ink will generate a unique QR code and shareable link for that session automatically.
Display or share the QR code
Show the QR code on a projector slide, print it on a handout, or share the link in a conference app or email. Attendees will be able to join before the session starts or at any point during it.
Attendees scan and are in
One camera scan will open the session in Conference Ink. Attendees will see the session details, take their own notes and photos against the shared timeline, and receive the transcript and AI summary once the session is processed.
What organizers and attendees will get
Designed for the person running the session and the people trying to follow along.
Unique QR code per session
Each session will get its own QR code. Display it once and it will work for the entire event, shareable across multiple channels: projector, printed program, or event app, without any setup friction.
Live transcript for attendees
A live transcript streamed to every attendee's screen as the speaker talks, for accessibility, language support, or following along on a small screen. Planned as part of the same organizer rollout.
Session info display
The QR landing page will show session title, speaker name, start time, and a live status indicator, so attendees know exactly what they're joining before they scan.
No account required to join (planned)
Our goal: attendees with read-only access won't need to create a Conference Ink account. Scan the QR code, open the session, follow along. Zero sign-up friction for participants.
Shareable summary after the session
Once the AI summary is generated, the same QR link will give attendees access to the structured notes. No extra sharing step: the link you distributed before the talk will automatically surface the summary.
Multi-session conference management
Organizers will manage all sessions from a single conference dashboard: see which sessions are live, which have summaries ready, and distribute QR codes for the entire event program at once.
Where organizers will use it
Put the transcript in the room.
